Theme:Supporting 2017 Asian Winter Games in Sapporo

Japanese Forum for Winter Sports Science holds annual meeting on winter sports activities, coaching, science as well as exercise physiology in various environment. This year the forum will invite a guest speaker on "2017 Winter Asian Games in Sapporo". We are looking forward to seeing you in Sapporo.

Keynote Lecture:"Organizing the 2017 Asian Winter Games in Sapporo"

      
  • Takahashi Katsunori (General Manager of the 8th Asian Winter Games Organizing Commitee)
  • The 8th Asian Winter Games will be held at Sapporo and Obihiro on 19-29 February 2017. Sapporo city has hosted the Asian Winter Games twice, the first one in 1986 and the second one in 1990. Mr. Takahashi Katsunori, general manager of the organizing committee, will talk about the preparations and the public relations including the PR video of the Winter Games.

Symposium "Scientific support for 2017 Asian Winter Games in Sapporo"

  • Chair: Yamamoto Keizo(Hokusho Univ.)
  • The forum invits three symposists who works for the 8th Asian Winter Games. Ms.Henmi Kayo will talk about recruiting talented winter sports athletes at the prefectual level. Mr.Mori Satoshi will introduce top level to junior level ski jumpers and Nordic combined athletes. Mr. Yshida Masahiro will show medical and scientific support on short track speed skating.
